Jazzy Afternoon at MONA

After the memorable Christmas feast and my long journey from India, I was looking forward to a quiet and relaxing day.  And that’s exactly what was in store for us.  We headed over to MONA, Museum of Old and New Art for an afternoon of live outdoor jazz and relaxation.  I’d read in my guidebook about how interesting this museum is but rather than spending time indoors I opted to stay outside and enjoy the beautiful weather and the scenery.  There were several installation art pieces and the museum grounds enough to keep me busy when I wasn’t listening to the jazz band or eating more of J’s delicious picnic food.

For dinner we returned once again to M&J’s home for more fabulousness.

We plan to do a long walk tomorrow to start getting ready for our big hike coming up.
